Girl Scout cookies delivery day

this is what my troop leaders front room looked like after we unloaded ALMOST 400 cases of cookies from their trailer to her front room...
and this was after we had loaded at least 1/3 of them into the cars of the people who picked up their orders...

Tri-fold birthday card for neighbor...

I have 5 boys that live next door and I don't really have a darn thing to make cards for boys...so, his mother said he likes red and black for colors and dogs and monkeys...and this is what I came up with...

Birthday tri-fold card...

Here is a tri-fold card that I did for my friends daughter for her birthday...she loves Jacob from Twilight and I could not find anything from Twilight last minute...so, I took a picture from a candy bar wrapper and used Tim Holtz memory glass to put the picture behind and then used the foil tape to seal the two pieces of glass together...I used the same method on the other side but with flowers...

Newest birthday cards for my husbands birthday...

Here are my lastest creations that I made for my husband....It is so hard to make cards for him when he is home so I did not make recipes for these since I had to make them on the sly with him walking around the house...LOL
this is the card that I made from me...the stamps are from a set I got at Michaels last year
and the monkey ribbon also is from there...

this is the card that I created for my youngest to give to her daddy...
the stamps are yet again from Michaels and the paper is also from there.

Most of the sock monkey paper is on sale there right now for 19 cents per sheet.

this is the card that I created for my oldest to give to her daddy.

2nd Blog Award!

What an awesome way to start my morning!
Hello All!

I have been really busy this week. I helped out in my little ones Kindergarten class for their Valentine’s party - I had to take my oldest to community service for Girl Scouts – my oldest is in a play tonight – and we have Girl Scouts on Saturday…we get to pick up our cookies and then deliver them!

When I checked my blog this morning I noticed that Tisha from Tisha's Craft Cove had nominated me for a blog award. I was so honored that she nominated me. I love the cards that Tisha has made…they are so cute! Please visit her blog and become a follower.

So in order to receive this award, I need to nominate 3-5 other new blogs. Please check out these fantastic blogs when you get a chance!

Gill @ http://creationsbygillm.blogspot.com/
Candace @ http://papercraftsbycandace.blogspot.com/
Diana @ http://dianamlarson.blogspot.com/
Gina @ http://www.ginascraftingspot.com/

I will go to these ladies blogs and give them the great news that they are the "chosen ones" LOL! Hopefully, they will pay it forward with shout outs to other newbie’s like me.

I am so glad I decided to take start a blog and I have to thank My Pink Stamper for that. I love looking at all of the wonderful creations that everyone is making.

I love my followers and thank you for all your words of encouragement. It really means a lot to me to see the wonderful comments that you all leave.

Birthday card for a special friend...

I made this card for a special friend.  Her birthday was in September but I just recently found out that her birthday is forgotten a lot so I thought that I would make her feel special and I made her a very belated birthday card to make her feel special!   :-)

recipe:
  • card is 6 1/2 x 5
  • animal print paper cut at 1/4 " less
    • found paper at Michaels in a sale bin (there were 5 different prints and fun colors)
  • cupcake from Doodlecharms pg. 49
  • used gold stickles for the flame of the candle
  • popped up the cupcake with pop dots
  • black ribbon found at Michaels in their Valentine's ribbon
  • cupcake brads found at Michaels
  • I think the ball ribbon was found at Micheals but I am not sure
    • I have had it for a long time and this was the first time I used it
  • I used Hotfix Crystals in black and hot pink for bling on the cupcake
  • "make a wish" stamp from stampset from Michaels

Valentine treats for the girls to give out at school...

Here are the treat bags that I made for my girls...so much fun making 60 of them...

recipe:
  • white card stock cut at 4 1x4 x 4
  • folded to make 4 1x4 x 2
  • heart cut out at 2" (I think) I was from the SweetHearts cartridge (I need to check what page, but I know it was a blackout)
  • I used Peachy Keen faces (pk-490)
  • I acented the center of the eyes & the eyelashes with a white pen
  • The "Happy heart day" stamp is from Michaels
  • pink paper cut 1/4" less and taped to the white cardstock
  • stitching around outside of heart done with black felt pen
  • I used pop dots for the heart
  • filled the bag with Dum Dum suckers...{one of the girls in my daughters class is allergic to peanuts so I wanted to get something that would not contain peanuts.}

bag of 25 for the Kindergarten class

bag of 35 for the 5th grade class

Valentine"s Treats for the teachers...

  • Peachy Keen Stamps (pk-490) for the brads
  • heart stamp with red Martha Stewart glitter glue inside
  • made my own brad with the Imaginisce i-top brad maker
    • I used red card stock
